Well I've been back here in AZ for a couple of days now, Rox and Athan left this morning. The HOuse is empty of furniture except for some odds and ends and a few things like my desk, computer, stereo, tv, dvd player and my bed.. It's interesting that heaven can be so empty when the presence, sounds and warmth of those you love are not around. The house is all the more empty since they left. I'm use to being alone... I've often sought out aloneness. I think mostly to hide from loneliness...I've been alone in some of the most beautiful places on Earth and seen things while I was alone that should have been shared with someone. I guess it was menat for me alone. Soon I will be in the higher country (I'm already at 7,000 feet) surrounded by the sounds and bodies of the people in my life.. And I will be seeking the space of my studio to be alone. It all seems Ironic, I love being with my family as long as I can be alone every once in a while, BUT I can't stand to be alone when I know they are far away from where I am.
