Well it's been a while since I've posted and that's because I've been caught up in the stress and chaos of moving and starting a new job. I just completed 1 week of training on computers and books and being tested to be a Cashier at Home Despot. I have to admit the place is sort of a Corporate Cult but a lot of the people that work there are very nice. As long as I keep my head together I can make it through until I find a more suitable job. The pay is good and after 90 days the bennies kick in. On a lighter note, the cabin is wonderful and the views are spectacular. The other day I drove in just before sunrise and the pink hue on the snow capped La Platas was incredible. Here are a couple of pics to share the view

The La Platas from the house

The San Juans to the North

The music scene here is incredible, last night David Lindley played at a local venue and many well known musicians pass through here. That's all for now I'll have loads more stuff to tell soon. I start my first day as an actual Cashier this Friday.

My carpenter friends call Home Depot, Homey D's.

Like: "goin' down to Homey D's to buy some soft-pads for my knees."

I suppose it could be a blues tune... <g>
