There are literally a hundred plus gathering in the back 80, my guess is they're gathering to head back to the breeding grounds in a month or so. Yesterday two flew by very close to my studio balcony, I started to go in to get my gun when I remembered Canadian Geese mate for life. I suddenly lost my appetite for fresh goose and remembered my connection to the land.  Besides If I want goose I can always go down to the market and buy one. Winter has been very forgiving here, not like back east or in Oswego (Jerry Jeff Walkers hometown, he told me that once) we've had snow and very cold temps but nothing we can't deal with. The rain and coolish temp today reminded me of Winter in Texas, man am I glad I live in Colorado LOL. Oh Yeah,
